Fundamentals
 

Where it always begins

The Fundamentals class is designed for both beginners (0-6 months of experience) and those with intermediate skills (6+ months).

The session is divided into two parts: an initial warm-up and conditioning phase, followed by focused technical training.

During the warm-up, participants engage in activities like skipping, bodyweight movements (including push-up variations, core exercises, and squats), partner drills, and shadow boxing.

This phase aims to enhance strength, endurance, and muscle readiness, ensuring participants are fully prepared to practice the techniques covered in the class.

Technique Lesson

In the technical segment of the class at Roots Muay Thai, students will participate in activities like pad work, partner drills, and bag training.

These drills are focused on refining striking skills and advancing technical ability.

The curriculum is carefully structured to accommodate both beginner and intermediate students, providing tailored guidance and challenges that align with each individual's experience and goals.
